The following pages give a brief idea of things do to in Brugge, which we hope will make your trip more interesting.

New Petra is berthed close by the Scheepsdalebrug, the first swing bridge approaching Brugge from Oostende.

Depending on availability we moor at the Steenkai, just before the bridge on the left, or at the Houtkaai on the right.

There is ample free parking and both berths are close to grass recreation areas for the youngsters.

Brugge is a charming old city where there is always plenty to see and do.  It is less than 15 minutes walk to the centre of Brugge, and there is a very frequent bus service.

If there is time a trip to the ancient seaport of Damme is well worth a visit and has been highly recommended by our colleagues in Oostende.

If time is limited then a guided tour of the sights of Brugge, by horse drawn carriage, minibus or bicycle is reasonably priced for a group.
