New Petra is berthed courtesy of the harbour authority at berth 700, adjacent to the rowing club on Prins Albertlaan.

There is a bus stop less than 2 minutes walk from our mooring and a service every 20 minutes to and from the centre of Oostende, from where a tram departs every few minutes west to Adinkerke and east to Knokke.

The bus is about €1 each way and a day pass on the tram is about €5.

There are 2 tenpin bowling alleys in Oostende a short ride in the minibus.

In nearby De Haan a large indoor water park is very popular.

Many groups enjoy visiting the Earth Explorer for an interactive experience and near Ypres the Bellewaerde amusement park is popular with young and old.
