ROELIE 2 IN DRYDOCK TERNEUZEN UNDERGOING SURVEY
This picture was taken in March 2000 shortly after we purchased the barge in Lelystad, sailed to Terneuzen, and drydocked for a survey before starting conversion.
The survey confirmed that the ship was in very good condition and enabled us to start the conversion and eventually rename her New Petra.
Compare this picture with one of how she looks today and it is evident how much work was carried out during the conversion. Rene Roze, our Belgian colleague, is by the bow looking rather cold.
